The Philippine Financial Summit is UP JFA’s flagship event with satellite summits held across the nation. It aims to promote financial literacy and nation-building amongst college students and young professionals alike to hone their knowledge on the different fields of finance.

2016
The first-ever Student Leader’s Financial Summit was held in SMX Convention Center at SM Aura Premier in Taguig City. The theme for this year was Leading Nation Building Through Finance.
2017
2017 was a breakthrough year for the organization. The summit was able to widen its reach to Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao and was therefore called the Philippine Financial Summit. The theme for this year was Deconstructing Finance, Reconstructing Our Future.
2018
PFS even pushed its boundaries further, reaching four satellite areas this year: Manila, Baguio, Cebu, and Davao. True to its theme of Unlocking Finance, the convention started localizing its topics, making it more relevant for its audience.
2019

With the rise of new trends in the finance industry, PFS conducted its first-ever Financial Technology (FinTech) Convention in Manila, while expanding its reach to a new satellite area: Tacloban City. With the theme Get Linked, A total of five finance summits were conducted in 2019 namely, Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Tacloban, and Davao.
2020
Despite the challenges brought by the covid pandemic, PFS:
The Missing Piece was able to hold two satellite events in Bulacan and Tacloban before the nationwide lockdown. As PFS’ main priority is its participants’ growth, it took a step further this year and tailored-fit the summit’s topics with the participants’ requests in mind.
2021
PFS adapts to the new normal and will conduct its first digital summit this March 2021 with the theme Ready. Set. Invest. With the limitless possibilities provided by the current virtual setup, PFS is determined to provide greater accessibility to finance for all people. Having this mission in mind, several talks and workshops will be made available through live streaming. Furthermore, various online courses designed to assist people wherever they are in their finance journey will also be released in the PFS Website.
2022
PFS continues its mission with its second digital summit with team Advance with Finance. Despite the global pandemic, PFS is dedicated to providing holistic financial education and mentorship by helping beginner and advanced-level participants nationwide. This is done through a two-week virtual convention, a finance learning website, optional case competitions for both levels, and mentorship opportunities.
